THE MYHILLS

Fran-Way Belgians is located in southwest Manitoba, along Highway #16.
Wayne & Frances have farmed here since 1974 & have two children Dan & Amber. Dan & his wife Tracey have just returned to the farm in the fall of 2003 and are helping with the farm operation. Dan is a farrier by trade so is a great asset to the horse operation. Dan & Tracey also raise registered Belgians, Myhill’s Belgians, and presently have 11 registered mares. Amber has graduated from Pharmacy in 2003 and is now employed in Red Deer, Alberta. Our summers are kept busy with our Belgian horses on the show circuit.

Fran-Way Belgians operates an equine ranch, which collects pregnant mare urine to be used in estrogen replacement therapy. We have been in business since 1992 and find it a very rewarding career as it allows us to do what we love the best, working with horses. We have over 100 registered Belgians, which is our main herd, but also do breed registered Suffolk Punch and have 12 of these. Recently we have started to breed Spotted Draft horses and have 25 mares on this program. We find cross breeding of the draft with the paints gives us a colorful, easy to handle foal.

Our main goal is to find homes for our foals and hope this web site will help you have a look at what we have to offer.
